The Dalongwan Park Road in Tianjin's Ninghe district
The improvement of 10 rural roads is one of the 20 people-oriented projects in Tianjin's Ninghe district in 2024, aiming to raise living standards with "small roads" to enhance the "big well-being" of the people.
The Dalongwan Park Road is one of the rural roads being improved and upgraded by Ninghe district this year. It was built in 2011 and spans 1.45 kilometers. At the end of the road lies a vegetable production functional area in Panzhuang town, where the main crops in the park are greenhouse fruits and vegetables.
Over the past two years, this road has deteriorated due to age, becoming uneven and pitted. During rainy and snowy weather, pedestrians and vehicles face difficulties entering and exiting, causing inconvenience in transporting fruit and vegetables and becoming a major obstacle to the development of the industrial park.
Ninghe district began upgrading and transforming the road at the end of August, expanding the previous 4-meter-wide surface to the current 6-meter-wide spacious and flat concrete road. This improvement effectively alleviated the issue of difficult travel for the people.
In addition to the Dalongwan Park Road, Ninghe district has also upgraded other rural roads that affect the travel of the people and agricultural development.
Ninghe intends to vigorously promote the construction of tourist roads, industrial roads and roads for well-being, aiming to improve the overall travel environment for the people in the region and contribute to rural revitalization efforts.
