Ninghe sees upsurge in tourism during the 8-day holiday

During the combined Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday from Sept 29 to Oct 6, tourism consumption rose in the Ninghe district, Tianjin, with various scenic spots bustling with visitors.

Since the harvest season in autumn, the number of tourists visiting Ninghe district has reached 1.53 million, a year-on-year increase of 103.4 percent. The total revenue has reached 419.98 million yuan ($57.57 million), a year-on-year increase of 122.8 percent.

Taking advantage of the eight-day holiday, Ninghe prepared 20 tourist spots -- including Qilihai Beibei Ecological Farm, Ninghe Daoxiang Farm, Ninghe Rural Theme Park, and Lutaichun Cultural and Creative Industry Park – for visitor arrivals. Along with six premium tourist routes, these offerings have provided more new choices for tourists.
