This  is another national roller skating event held in Ninghe district, following the 2023 China Roller Skating (Speed Roller Skating) Competition. Since the beginning of this year, Ninghe has been actively hosting multiple sports contests.

“In October of this year, Ninghe will undertake the five events of the 2023 National Roller Skating Festival (Ninghe Station), including the 2023 National Youth Roller Skating Blocking Championships, 2023 China Open Roller Skating (Freestyle Roller Skating), 2023 National Roller Skating Club League, 2023 Tianjin Ninghe Roller Skating Marathon Open, and 2023 National Roller Skating Training Camp. Through large-scale roller skating events, we aim to drive the development of the roller skating and ice and snow industry, promoting the construction of the 'Northern Roller Skating Capital',” said Wang Xuebin, secretary of the Party Group Ninghe District Bureau of Sports Committee and director of Ninghe District Bureau of Sports.

In recent years, Ninghe has integrated the high-level competitive events with the enthusiasm of national fitness, adding new momentum to local economic development.

“We will seize the opportunity of holding roller skating competitions to strengthen the 'sports+' project, driving the integrated development of agriculture, culture, sports, tourism, and business, and contributing to the high-quality growth of Ninghe district," said Wu Haiyan, deputy head of Ninghe district.
