The 2023 China Roller Skating (Speed Roller Skating) Competition kicked off in Ninghe district, Tianjin, on July 15.

This two-day event featured various categories of competition including a 200-meter double time trial, 500m+D sprint, 1,000-meter sprint, 3,000-meter relay, and a 10,000 meter elimination.
Over 500 players of 61 teams from Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Xinjiang, Jilin, Hainan, Anhui, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi and other areas of the country participated in the competition.
At the opening ceremony, Li Jianrou, Olympic champion, fellow apprentice of movie superstar Jackie Chan and Chang Yue, roller skating champion, made a grand appearance. Their exquisite performances won applause from both athletes and spectators.

The hosting of this roller skating competition has injected vitality into the development of Ninghe district. Participants from other areas across the country were also encouraged to take this event as an opportunity to visit the distinctive attractions of Ninghe, taste authentic local cuisine, and learn about its folk culture charm, further enabling Ninghe to explore the path of integrating its abundant ecotourism resources with "sports + tourism" development.
