On Mar 18, the 14th China International Seed Industry Expo and the 19th National Seed Trade Fair kicked off at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin). Five key enterprises in the seed industry in Ninghe district participated in the event.

During the event, the enterprises of Ninghe district displayed their characteristic products, including new rice varieties and fish species, to further expand their brand influence.

In recent years, Ninghe has insisted on giving priority to developing its seed industry; constantly optimized the five characteristic seed industries of Ninghe, including rice, pigs, fish, crabs, and sprouts; strengthened scientific and technological innovation, and cultivated seed industry talents. At present, the total output value of the seed industry chain in Ninge district has reached 440 million yuan (about $64 million).
