This year, Tianjin Jinshi Shennong Seed Industry Co., Ltd. has planted 12,000 mu of rice, purchased 38,000 mu of rice, and stored 35,000 tons of rice, which has guaranteed the supply of high-quality food in the region. In addition, high-quality rice seedlings have been produced, with a promotion area of 20,000 mu, laying a solid foundation for local rice harvests.

This year, the 50,000 mu of rice fields planted by the company achieved a bumper harvest. Focusing on traditional agriculture, Ninghe has contributed to the development of characteristic industries, such as rice, aquaculture and green vegetables. It has built 548,800 mu of high standard farmland, realized 650,000 mu of grain planting area, 370,000 mu of Xiaozhan rice planting area, and 209,000 mu of rice-fish mixed farming area, accounting for nearly 40% of the total farmland in Tianjin. Yuelong town of Ninghe was rated a major agricultural town in China, with its total grain output increasing year by year.
Ninghe district gives full play to the advantages of its five industries, including grain farming and livestock breeding, continues to improve its modern seed industry, and is accelerating the construction of a high-quality and efficient modern agricultural production system.
"This year, the vegetable planting area in our district reached 71,000 mu, and the number of pigs sold has exceeded 450,000. More than 240 million Qilihai river crabs have been released, and the construction of the seed industry science popularization demonstration base has started, providing greater support for the development of the agricultural industry," said Ren Shaohui, director of the Ninghe Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee.
In addition, Ninghe Modern Agricultural Industrial Park Development and Construction Co., Ltd. has focused on the main business of four sectors: the seed industry, brand building, production, supply and the marketing system, and the integration of agriculture and tourism, opening up "offline + online" diversified sales channels.
Ninghe has enriched agricultural resources, which is one of the local advantages in developing its agricultural, cultural and tourism industries. In recent years, more than 10 high-quality agricultural tourism projects have been completed and put into operation, receiving nearly 100,000 tourists throughout the year, seeing an income of more than 3.6 million yuan (about $520,000).
