On May 7, Sun Qingyu, an employee of the Ninghe branch of the State Grid Corporation of China and a team member of the Communist service team of State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company, provided an analysis of electricity consumption to Tianjin Jinshi Shennong Seed Industry CO., LTD.
Tianjin Jinshi Shennong Seed Industry CO., LTD is a leading enterprise of Tianjin’s agricultural industrialization. To promote rural revitalization, the company adopts the “leading enterprise+cooperative+farmers” integrated industrial management model to set up a mechanism with farmers, to carry out seedling supply, plant protection, agricultural machinery service and technical training to benefit farmers.
In early March, Sun and his team learned that the enterprise had newly purchased a batch of dryers for expanding its production capacity and increasing the investment of technological innovation. After on-site inspection, Sun and team members informed responsible people of the company of preparing required documents and relevant procedures. Within commitment time, they rapidly connected power supply for the dryers.
“Seeds have high power requirements during the drying stage. If the voltage is unstable or power supply is interrupted, the seeds will get wet and germinate,” Zhang Weizhu, electrical director of the company, said. “During the busy season every year, our large dryers are running at full capacity. Thanks to the service team who usually check hidden hazards of machines for us, we can cultivate seeds at ease.” The two newly equipped machines are providing inexhaustible power for seed cultivation.
In the next step, the Ninghe branch will further follow the production situation of enterprises, help them to optimize energy use, reduce electricity cost in order to energize the rural industrial revitalization with quality power supply.
