The museum is a national 3A-level scenic spot built by Tianjin Foodstuff Import & Export Corporation and Tianjin Yijuyong White Liquor Co., Ltd. to review the history of Tianjin's oldest producer of baijiu, or white liquor, demonstrate the corporate culture of Yijuyong and make the city's bajiu culture better known.
Exhibition booths in the themed museum are built of stone and wood. In addition, traditional Chinese handicrafts such as sculptured artwork, kites and woodblock printing have been incorporated throughout the building.
