The former residence of Yu Fangzhou (1900-1927) is located at the village of Biaokouzhen in Lutai township, Ninghe district of Tianjin. Yu is a revolutionary martyr, who founded the Xinsheng Organization and fought for the cause of communism.
Yu's former residence was registered as a key historical and cultural site in Ninghe in 1959 and 1981 respectively. It was later added to a list of historical and cultural sites under municipal-level protection.
