The 2026 Tianjin Youth Wushu Routine Championship will take place on Oct 24 and 25 at Ninghe Gymnasium, marking the first time Ninghe district has hosted a municipal top-level competitive sports event. The event will bring together young martial arts athletes from across Tianjin.
The championship features four groups, with 100 events for men and women. It covers youth, junior, and children's age groups, with more than 600 registered athletes to compete.
Running concurrently, the 2026 Tianjin Ninghe Roller Skating Carnival will bring together skaters from multiple countries to showcase speed and skill.
By blending traditional Chinese wushu with trendy roller skating, the events create a major sports celebration for Ninghe, allowing residents to experience international competition close to home.
Beyond the events, a themed market will open with Ninghe specialty agricultural products and local cultural and creative goods. Visitors can watch competitions, browse the market, and sample local flavors, experiencing Ninghe's cityscape in one stop.
